Day!

Friends. I am at my friends house playing video games with my friends and my mentor, Billy Mays. We are having lots of fun. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, we really should be outside, everything seems normal. For now.

Suddenly. As we are playing, out of the blue, the ground began to shake violently. We turned off our game and turned on the news. I ran outside to see what was going on. I see a huge nuclear explosion coming from Los Angeles. I ran back inside and saw on the news that North Korea just blew up Los Angeles. We were all in shock and had no idea how to protect ourselves from another possible attack.

The Fall of Caesar

Antony is saying that Caesar shouldnt have died. Brutus killed Caesar because he thought Caesar would get power hungry. Brutus says that it was a good thing that Caesar was killed. Antony believes that Caesar didnt deserve to be killed.

Antony states, "When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept" (Antony 93). By saying this, Antony is trying to get the audience the idea that Caesar felt sympathetic for the poor. He chooses to convince his audience through sympathy. This way the audience will see Caesar as a nice and caring person. Antony states, "You all did love him once, not without cause; What cause witholds you then to mourn for him" (104-105)? This quote causes the audience to feel guilty for loving Caesar when he was king but not mourning at his funeral. This statement is suppose to make the audience feel guilty for themselves. This way the audience will give in and see themselves as jerks for not mourning at the funeral of the king they once adored.

Antony has good ethos because he says that he is Caesars friend. Antony proclaimed "Come I to speak in Caesars funeral. He was my friend, faithful, and just to me" (Antony 86-87). By saying that Caesar was his faithful friend, that raises his credibility. Obviously someone who is someone's friend would be more believable than some random citizen.
